ROAD

Take a standard Fizik Arione with its Kium (tubular steel alloy) rails, then remove some padding and add a narrower stitch seam spacing down the middle, and you have the CX. There isn’t a lot of difference in either weight or performance but there certainly is in price. 
The standard Arione is 34g heavier, but it’s £50 cheaper. There’s no denying that the Arione CX is a fantastic saddle that most people will find comfortable, but paying £50 more for thinner padding and a 34g weight saving just doesn’t add up. 
On the sides of the hull there are 'wing flex' sections, which are small slots cut into the hull at an angle to allow it to move a little against the pressure from your inner thigh. The Arione's shape and length are such that it doesn't matter what shape you are, you should still find a position that's comfy. But there
are riders out there who can't get along with the 'will fit almost anyone' flat shape.

JOHN COBB SHC170
The HC170 seat will be a new saddle for Road Racers. HC [Hard Core]  170 [weight ] is a minimally padded seat with a newly developed [by me] Polymer shell that flexes and molds to the riders butt.  It also incorporates our  "thigh guides" so the rider doesn't get chafing from the seat edges. It comes in both Black and White finish using a new Microfiber material with a true leather feel.  This is not designed for touring, it is a Race saddle and it has very minimal padding in the nose.  Our test riders, which were all experienced Cat 1,2,3 cyclist, found it to be very comfortable even on 85 mile training rides.

COBB-MAX
JOHN COBB V FLOW MAX
The Max saddle is the newest offering from Cobb Cycling, it continues the line of rider friendly saddles developed with the thought of comfort and speed.   The newest seat, which comes in both Black and White, was developed by John Cobb for maximum rider comfort for both Triathlon riding and road riding. The lowered nose section combined with the deep cut pressure trough will relieve pressure in the prostate/perinea area for men and the soft tissue area for women.  The narrow rear section comes from the extremely popular and successful VFlow series but is made with an all new higher density foam. Ongoing tests have shown that a harder saddle foam is more comfortable over longer distances, Cobb developed a new foam that will save weight while adding comfort. The seat rail design of the new Max seat will also make it much easier for rider to achieve the proper seat setback for U.C.I. races.  With one of the longest rail lengths of any of the “triathlon” type saddles, the max will easily be adjustable to find the ultimate in positions.  The Max weighs 270Gr. and has a unique shape that is very rider friendly.
